Repeating the same mistakes - How the hand-outs of the socialists have failed the people of District 5.

It did not come as a shock to learn that the local chapter of the Democrat Socialists of America, a group that openly embraces Communism and a Marxist view of history, has endorsed the District 2 and 5 incumbents. Rather than focusing on practical ways to improve conditions in our neighborhoods, these council members have chosen to play the "blame game", perpetuating victimhood as a way to gain personal political power.

When they're not instilling hatred for America, they work to expand hand-out programs that have already been proven to be failures. A prime example can be found right here in District 5 - Haven for Hope or as many locals call it, "Haven for Dope".

We've lived with this for decades! Our current city council leadership has abandoned our neighborhoods in District 5, content to let our streets deteriorate and allow encampments to serve as magnets for crime. We deserve better and, as your councilman, I guarantee you will get better!
